Meet Shannara

If I think about it, my passion and choice for this industry started when I was really young - not in the best way might I add! Growing up I was often made fun of for my looks by the popular pretty girls, and never really paid attention to by the boys I liked. I had acne, I was kind of dorky, and my "glow up" came very late in my opinion.

During college, i studied graphic design, advertising, and marketing, and all of my projects revolved around bringing the most beautiful aspects of any object, person, or place to life! My first serious job was doing wedding and event photography. I loved being able to bring my clients dreams of their wedding day to reality. But after 8 years, I still was finding myself wanting to be even more in tune with clients, wanting to be able to give them something more than a photograph, something LIFE CHANGING.

I thinking of what I would have wanted more of, what I wish I could've had sooner in life... and i wanted to feel CONFIDENT. Confidence in my looks, confidence in how I felt, confidence in my dreams, confidence in just MYSELF! And I looked into how I could permanently give that to other people. And so, I went to school again, got my licenses in esthetics and body art, and started my own beauty empire, so I can give others the confidence in themselves, and to make their goals, a reality!
